On the crest of a field in the small town
of Bedford, Virginia, our Victorian home
sits proudly alongside stately walnut and squirrel-loving pecan trees. The front porch, wrapping the house like an apron,
has been bathed in golden sunrises for
over a century.
Kathy and John Graham and their two youngsters moved to Bedford and into this lovely old house
in 1995. Once the kids got a bit older, Kathy agreed that John's idea of sharing their home as a B&B
might be a fun thing to do, and in 2003,
The Forget-Me-Not B&B was born.
Named for Kathy's favorite little flowers and the sweet simplicity they represent, their one room B&B has become quite popular through the years.
Within walking distance to town and all its restaurants, antique stores and art galleries and close to
the D-Day Memorial, Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest, the mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway,
The Forget-Me-Not B&B is in a perfect location.
Built in 1906 by the Burks family, the Grahams are the third owners of this grand home and proud to share pictures and information of its history.
When they are not visiting with guests,
Kathy shares yoga classes in her nearby studio and
John raises fish in their backyard fish farm. They also run another place to stay seven miles up the road called Graham Ordinary, and of course they delight in spending time with their granddaughter, Faolynn.
